Jesus. If Souness is appointed, I'm going into a self-induced coma 'till it's over.

I can't stand that nobhead.

Might be true or load of bo**ocks

Well considering you've just made it up right now I'm guessing it's a load of bollocks.

Hibernian manager - used to play for the Tims (celtic) and Fulham i think, decent as a player but overrated as a manager IMO.
Hibs youth system is mostly responsible for their continuing competitiveness in the SPL - they seem to offload all their decent players during the close season and always have good ones coming through the ranks.

In all honesty, although I hate him, I'd take Souness.

Urgh, did I just say that? Whack

Not sure we need to officially advertise it - it's not as if it would have escaped the attention of anyone in the UK who might be interested. I'm sure interested parties will send their CV anyhow. Commie was writing his last night Wink Although how he's going to fit it in with being Mayor of London too is a bit of a mystery to me.

Lord Mayor is obviously just a part-time role. Wink

Back to back UEFA qualification eh? When did Bolton ever do that?
And the bit about Lee being vertically challenged? WTF has that got to do with anything?

If you read the BN message board and the BWFC official message board many fans felt Lee was no good because he was "too short".

Ummmm......

Lee can do nothing about being vertically challenged, but effectively handing him Allardyce's track-suit and expecting him to grow into it within a matter of months was always a tall order. And it did not help that the media was handed the easy cliché of Little Sammy following Big Sam - Lee was immediately saddled with the patronising image of being a sort of mascot rather than an authoritative figure ion his own right.

Mr White Army, Why did you cut and paste a bit out of the article and pass it off as your own (or appear to do so).

Anyway i thought one of the more telling phrases in the article was this - and i quote -

"As for Bolton, the hunt that should have been conducted with greater care last April for Allardyce's successor is now on."

How true is that.

If you read it, which i assume you would have to in order to comment, you'd have known i cut and pasted, i am not completely savvy with the workings of the threads i either type something myself or press 'quote'.
Just thought it would have been easier to cut/paste than try and do the quotey thing.
If i have broke some rules regarding posting i sincerely apologise, it wasn't my intention.

Well those three things do go together quite frequently.

One thing is a fact. A week ago Jewell was on Sky Sports (soccer saturday I think) and he said he is now refreshed and just waiting for the right job to come back up as he is "keen" to get back into management.

Whether he thinks a relegation battle at Bolton is the right job is a different matter.

Well i for one hope it is. In fact whoever wins the poll should be manager, the board had the last go and made a right balls of it - it's our turn this time.

Do we really want someone who's going to come in resigned to us being in a relegation dogfight? We're 3 points from midtable with a very talented squad, surely the new guy we needs a bit more ambition and confidence in himself than that?
