Says on http://www.acciesfc.co.uk/ that we're playing them at New Douglas Park, anybody know anything about it, doesn't say anything about it on our website,

Be good to See some of the Scottish Whites go and take a good allocation.

It'll be a 'Bolton Wanderers XI' rather than the first-team, I'd imagine.

Would Berwick Rangers have been asked to give up a home friendly for a 'Bolton Wanderers XI'?

A Wanderers reserve team is likely to be turning out against Bamber Bridge the night before. The first team, however, don't seem to have any games arranged until 28th July at Crewe. I wonder if a squad trip abroad has fallen through and a mini tour of Scotland is being hastily arranged in its place?

Was going to take in the Airdrie v Everton XI at Partick on the Saturday, but now definitely go to see Bolton instead. Hope there are other games in Scotland planned.

Took about 700 to Falkirk a few year back, was a good weekend on the piss. Might have to make another trip up for this one.

If we're going to Scotland to play lower league teams, why not set a game up against Rangers?

Seems they'll be available for a wee kick about round then, so why not?

Oh dear! Will they have any players left though?

Is Owen Coyle aware that there are more countries on earth than Spain, England, Scotland and the USA?

Are you sure it's Ayr?
They've already got home matches arranged with Motherwell on the 14th, Partick on the 17th and Glentoran on the 21st.
Maybe of course they'll cancel the match with Partick in the same way Hamilton have done with Berwick.

Good, the Ayr squad will be knackered by the time their season starts the following week!

I'm pretty sure Mark Roberts (Ayr manager) and Coyle partnered each other up front for Airdrieonians and possibly also at Airdrie Utd.
Surprised he's not also arranged a match with Airdrie given links with that club, might not want to play on the artificial surface at their park.

On the BWFC site O'Halloran confirms that they are "playing some games in Scotland".

Really? Last time I was there they had three sides of a new stadium up and it was a piece of piss to find - it's right behind Morrison's :conf:

I'll take you at your word on the pies though. ;)

Oh, and yes, Ayr's lovely.

A breath of fresh Ayr, indeed.
