I look forward to every season! The disappointment usually sets in around October time.

I agree, but i think that is part of the problem, the players dont get into it until october, and we (as we have seen) cannot afford that.

I dont think playing chorley and the likes is good for pre season, its good we support these teams but we should do it by attending open days and running training sessions.

Not particularly humourous, but how should we get match fit, against a set of people that aren't aware of our tactics and how we're going to play, so we can try things out?

I do think some games, we need to be very careful who we pick to play against. That dude from Newport last season was a pub clogger of the highest order.

I thought DW was saying we shouldnt play shite teams? I'd agree with that. Always happy sending XI's of kids to part timees but that newport thing should of been lesson learned.

These are the very games that worry me the most against semi-pro cast-offs getting a little too over-eager to prove a point. I see we've no plans to play Newport again this time out.

Two flies on a piece of shit. One farts, the other one says "Do you mind - I'm eating?"

Is that OK?

I'd rather be playing english or scottish premier league teams or European teams. It feels safer than playing against a shop assistant who plays football at the weekend

My view is that playing teams in the championship, scottish prem and even second XI from europe would equip us better, we need to support our local teams but this can be done in a variiety of ways, they want money to keep them afloat,
Anyway HMX I thought you may be up for pompey and crystal p, brighton, bristol, sheff wed ?, burnley ?

the joke was 'bad'

If someone is driving down for this, I'm happy to chip in for the fuel and sleep most of the way there and back?
