No evidence. But he's proven he can do it at the top level. More than can be said for Ngog and Sordell....

Case closed.

Well not really there is more evidence Elmander could do it than any of our current strikers.

hmmmmm...

unless you admit that in his three seasons, Elmo scored 18 goals for Bolton
in those same three seasons - KD scored 30

Outed for talking bollox?

Except I was talking about NGog and Sordell not Davies, who is coming to the end of his career.

Elmander was our top scorer in the top flight in that season. Therefore it is possible but not certain that he could do it again.

Now you present the evidence that NGog or Sordell can do that?

We were guff.

And Woy is more of the same 'you play for a big club - you'll do' that we've always had. He said as much once he brought fecking Henderson on.

Roll on Friday - let's get completely mullered :pissed:

y'see - "slow news day" is a phrase we use when we are forced to put up weirdy stories cos there is nowt else going on... but in this case - it would also be "slow news" if the message was sent by carrier pigeon - cos it would take a while to get there...

that's what you did - you comic genius!! 8)

I thought we were organised and disciplined. I thought we passed the ball in the first half instead of the big hoof, and I think we were canny in playing the counter attck when under pressure in the second.

Wellbeck-Young-Oxford Chambers of Commerce is a great triumvirate to do this.

Solid start. No complaints here.

Probably helps that the Swedes lost, it'll force them onto us so we might not need a major re-think of tactics.
