Anyone got any post workout meal tips?

Chocolate milk or low fat vanilla ice cream, provides the insulin spike need to aid protein synthesis and result in muscle growth. So from this you get protein, carbohydrates in the form of sugar, calcium, low level of fat and well it tastes good

Good call! I overdid it a bit on milk in the past so had to cut right back on teh milk, but it was awesome. The past couple of sessions I've come back and had a can of baked beans straight from the tin. Sainsbury's basics give you roughly 19g of protein and only 200 cals for 27p. I'm thinking the tomato juice in the beans might act a bit like the insulin spike you describe.

That's a good shout, I've never thought about beans and for that price you can't go wrong
