Not in the same league as "The Wanderer's Rap" as done by Tony Harrison of Roadrunner video fame.

Haha, this was fairly cringeworthy back in 1997 but now it's got a retro appeal. I never tire of seeing Super's chest-turn-volley goal against Wolves at the end there. Imagine N'Gog doing that? Me neither.

That's the best bit for me too. I was there that day.

Always love beating Wolves. You know that's the worst thing about going down, not being able to laugh at Wolves and, to a lesser extent Blackburn.

Ah well...

On the bright side, we'll get two goes at each next season.

Could be promotion deciders?

Doubt it chum - from memory* this season has been a rare example of all three relegated teams finishing in the top six.

*Can't be arsed looking it up, but feel free :D

Couldn't we remove Tuncay and his singing of his embarrassing ditty , and just show the Wanderers shots alone instead? That'd be good.

Maybe DSB could re-record a more rocking version? With better visuals? Not that I'm complaining about seeing the 96-97 Championship winning team

According to his website it was apparently played at the Reebok every week. Can't seem to recall this at all. But I'm on board with the campaign to get it played before matches. Lets be honest it has a cheesy, low rent quality that fits our club. Much prefer to the dance trash that gets played.

It was played during the first season at the Reebok (97/98) immediately before the players come out - the footage of the games from that season were away to Coventry and Barnsley which were two of the three games (Southampton being the other) that were played away from home as the Reebok wasn't ready in time.

Some great players in those sides. Branagan, Frandsen, Tomo, Super John, and despite the stick he used to get from time to time, Nathan Blake didn't half know where the goal was.

97/98 was my first year as a season ticket holder so that era is certainly well up there in my favourite years as a Bolton fan.

I've been looking for this for years. I have the CD which had the video on it, but can only find the case, and the CD is missing.

Cheers!

UPDATE

When I sent this link to my dad, he replied with "I have the CD for this but no case."

Time to renew my wedding vows I think to right the wrong!
