That's nearly as bad as Riccy's effort!

Please do, I mean we could put other inspirational Wanderers players in there: JJ, Youri, Campo, The Elk, Dioufy, Speed and Stelios

Very chuffed about that. Cheers Bowtun. Would rather have seen that/heard that at Wembley than that gargling indie mess we had

Great find. I kind of found it catchy too.

"We're the Wanderers, We're the Wanderers its a one way attitude".

According to his website it was apparently played at the Reebok every week. Can't seem to recall this at all. But I'm on board with the campaign to get it played before matches. Lets be honest it has a cheesy, low rent quality that fits our club. Much prefer to the dance trash that gets played.

I definitely would have remembered seeing this at the Bok. It's very low rent, I love it :oyea:

I remember it well and also remember everyone rolling their eyes when it came on.

I think it was the Bontempi Trumpet that used to get on people's nerves.

Some great little snippets of action though - brings it all back.

Ages ago I was looking through some VHS tapes and came across the Tranmere game (Aldridge 'Straight back down!'). The best bit was where Colin Todd came on at full time and basically said 'Eff this league, we've wiped the floor with everyone. John Aldridge can kiss my arse.'

That was a great team, great players and a great spirit.

Where did it all go right for a bit and then wrong for a bit?

I think it's the trumpet that make this song.

As for the Tranmere game, always wound me up how they celebrated like they had won the league and all they had done was stop us getting 100 points. Very weird. Suppose it's only the same as the Shakers getting giddy about us being relegated a division. It should be pointed out to them that we have spent a total of 13 seasons in the Premier League whilst their sum total is......erm.......hang on a sec whilst I move the numbers about....erm 0 seasons

Haha, this was fairly cringeworthy back in 1997 but now it's got a retro appeal. I never tire of seeing Super's chest-turn-volley goal against Wolves at the end there. Imagine N'Gog doing that? Me neither.
