We've got some superb away days, I'm so glad pointless clubs like Reading and Southampton have gone up now we're down.
Leeds, Sheffield Wednesday, Hull, Blackburn, Burnley and then the maybe's of Huddersfield and Blackpool, I'm looking forward to some proper away days. Give me an unpredictable scrap where we've spent £20 on a ticket than pay £50 to camp in our own half and still concede 5 against Chelsea any day.
thats what its about! watching lofty the lion 'intimidating' rival fans! remember this in 1997???
The Bolton Wanderers mascot, Lofty the Lion (left), has been told to carry on entertaining the Burnden Park crowd by the First Division club - despite allegations that he has intimidated rival fans. The incident allegedly occurred during Bolton's home game with Wolves on Saturday, and Wolves supporters are understood to be writing to the Football Association to lodge a complaint. "Lofty is very upset by any suggestion that he helped cause a problem," Bolton's chief executive, Des McBain, said yesterday. "He is there to create a bit of fun. His performances have been enjoyed by home and away fans alike" where games meant more and cost less! cannot wait for some of these games where WE are the top team and WE are the ones smashing teams up and down the park
