i find we get our best results when ive completely ignored the fact were playing until well after the final whistle. often ive started out with this tactic, but peeked - then we inevitably throw away any lead and lose heavily.

I'm sure she will be thrilled to know that you're in an amorous mood purely to bring Bolton a bit of luck. You know how to make a girl feel special PW ;)

I always bought a program at away games and went 2 years without seeing us lose on our travels. I still claim credit for our Leyland Daf/Sherpa thingy win over Torquay.

Alternatively, we always conceded whenever I put the radio on, no matter how well we were playing at the time. A late Phil Brown winner at Bournemouth ended that run.

No idea what I'll do tonight apart from think about coffeymagic's neighbour rather too much

I'm going to do my tax return while watching this one – was doing the same when we beat Blackburn away. Not surprisingly I messed up my accounts on that occasion and ended up with a €450 fine, but I'd take that again for a win tonight!
