Bolton go into the final part of the season with a foot in both the bpl and the championship needing only a few points to reach the 40 point "safety zone" and having the predicted easiest fixtures.

We have it all in our own hands this season, games in hand fully rested team, players returning from injury and fighting for contracts for their own future not only the clubs premiership future.

From what i have seen we have enough in this squad to do more than survive yet we still are struggling perhaps you will say we just need to get your favorite player back into form or get klasnic on more as he scores more than the rest but lets be honest we just need that fight that grit to fight for our survival right now, gretar steinsson says we must be ruthless and hes right so many times ive seen 9 players fighting tooth and nail for the win and 1 player playing a little half hearted only for his lack of workrate/effort to end up hurting us, so when the chips are down and it seems they are just about to be we need everything pulling in the right direction in bolton on and off the pitch^^.

personally i think we are certain to survive this year

The problem is that the players don't seem bothered, there showing no fight unlike Wigan. Fans at the rest of the games really need to get behind the players, even if we are losing we should still sing and support them. It's all or nothing now

I'm not agreeing they don't seem bothered. For long spells against the barcodes we played well. Steinsson claims no talk of contract renewall will take place till we know where we stand. None of the players will want Championship football and they all know the score so I'm expecting an upturn in both play and fortunes.

Villa away and Spurs at home..

Only chance we have is if Spurs make the cup final and rest their team against us.

The only chance we have?

Really?

Against a team who've got six points from eight games and hate coming to the Reebo(c)k?

Well we've not exactly been great against teams above us

Yeah they must really be bricking it at the thought of coming to "Fortress Reebok"

Really? Four rolly-eyed emoticons?

For what it's worth, and presumably for sins in a past life, I sit between two (ST-holding) Spurs fans at work and they f*cking HATE playing at the Reebok. The results bear out their hatred.

But no, roll on.

I think that the biggest game we have left is the one against Villa. Winning it won't guarantee survival but it's so important that we pick points up in the games in hand.

Just looking at the run in you have to like our chances.

Problem is, we're near the bottom because we're not winning enough points.

Not sure whether I'd rather points in hand rather than games in hand. (Well - I'm sure I'd rather points in hand, but preferably about 15 of them, with 4 games left)

A draw wouldn't take us above Wigan and two draws wouldn't take us above QPR.

Three!

Stoke, Liverpool and a draw with Arsenal.
