Standard salad: hard-boiled eggs, sliced tomatoes, lettuce and cress, ranch dressing, sliced ham and new potatoes swimming in Lurpak. Just lovely.

I'm having the exact opposite.
A case of Strongbow and a shop bought pie.

Quorn chicken barely tastes different when cooked in with a load of sauce and seasoning to be honest. I wouldn't eat a quorn breast or owt, but chunks of it in a pie tastes fine.

Oh right. Well that makes it all the worthwhile then. :?

Is that your own pastry, Bish? Or frozen / pre-mixed malarky? Looks fantastic.

bit of both... the pastry base is mine - the puff-pastry lid is shop-bought (though it was me that brushed it with egg!)..

and - BB is 100% right (GG is wrong!)
