Lent is over! depending on your tradition, it either finished on the Friday before Palm Sunday (ie. last Friday) OR Maundy Thursday (yesterday)

in any case - you could have eaten chocolate on Sundays as Lent does not include the Sundays... :wink:

This is being said a lot. Fck knows when the idea started. We have a country full of weak willed buggers these days. I blame comprehensive education .... oh, & the human rights act .... & the unions.

lent has never included the sundays in the Western Church (catholic or protestant). it is pretty much only the Eastern Orthodox who count the Sundays...

Jealous of both of you. Not picked up my clubs for a couple of years now due to time restrictions and the financial pressure of being in my 5th year being a student. Hopefully when I start work and get a few quid I'll be able to play a bit again. Only problem is the lack of time will get worse!

We have one too. Looks a bit pinker than that, but beautiful.

Very nervy things though. One budge & they're off.

In fact we have a load of brightly plumed birds at the moment. It's nice to see.
