I feel for the 17-yr-old who tweeted it. He's way, way out of his depth.

Wolves fan here - just wanted to pass on my best wishes to Fabrice Muamba and his family and friends. It's times like these that it doesn't matter which team you support, we're all supporting him to pull through this.
Hang in there, Fabrice.

Out of hospital cardiac arrests have a terrible outcome. Like, really poor. And if they are using a defibrillator this is definitely what has happened. Taking him to hospital is not a good or bad sign as they would take him there if he was a) revived b) still being resuscitated or c) already dead. When young healthy men suddenly go into cardiac arrest it's normally due to some underlykng cardiac condition, like cardiomyopathy or conduction disorders.

To be honest, I'm hoping for the best, but I genuinely think he has already died. Still, hoping for the best

Come on, Moo, please?!

Just shows how great football fans can be in times like this. That one's views on another team is irrelevant because we all know this sort of thing is bigger than petty rivalry, and each and every one of us fellow football fans are praying for Muamba to pull through.

This thread is a wonderful example of the good the internet can do and what a good place it can be. Fabrice was aware to some degree about this forum and our thoughts towards him, great site.

Don't appologise, you or any other we-wisher for supporting someone in trouble. Just heartening and it really does help. Thank you all

I'm so so cut up about this still. Just shaking waiting for further news. So many paralells i can draw to it as well. Same age, doing something I love doing 3 or 4 times a week. Really hits home. Please defy the odds mate and make it through!
