More like a plea, actually...

That photo of Megson has to go.
I awoke in a cold sweat last night thinking about it.
I've spent all day worrying that I might come across it, and I keep avoiding threads you have posted on...
I'm off to the pub now, and then I'm gonna sleep through. If you have any sympathy for me, you'll kill him off tonight. (You could use a nice photo of Warnock instead :D ) (or Hughes :D :D )

Cheers.

Not a big fan of his then?
I might change it tomorrow; that glare bouncing off his baldspot is getting on my nerves anyway.

Lovely. That's from the Gordon Brown School of Smiling. The school runs courses for people who struggle to smile instinctively. There is a medical term for them - miserable tw*ts.

On second thoughts I've just discovered the aesthetic qualities inherent in the original photograph. It's amazing how it epitomises the harmonic balance in the universe - it really does capture the essence of the yin-yang principle. No, I insist, you keep it... I'll learn to live with the nightmares, it's character building.

Can someone not photoshop a bullet hole to his left temple?

That would add pathos* to an image already dripping in bathos*.

* PS for those who need a little help:
Bathos = a. An abrupt, unintended transition in style from the exalted to the commonplace, producing a ludicrous effect. b. An anticlimax.
Pathos = A quality, as of an experience or a work of art, that arouses feelings of pity,
sympathy, tenderness, or sorrow.

Or in the words of Thomas Jefferson: How meanly has he closed his inflated career! What a sample of the bathos will his history present!

I had no idea that Thomas Jefferson knew Megson... such a small world we live in!
