I'd just bawled out to Moo to tell Coyle to get him on and that stump Pratley off...about a minute before he scored...couldn't have timed it better if I'd tried. :oops:

He's still fcuking useless.

I thought Pratley was at fault in the penalty area before then, was that the disallowed goal incident? I don't really see what other people see in Pratley, but if he's going to be with us for a while we may aswell wish him well. At least the Moo came on at the end.

He's a decent championship player, not good enough for the prem.

He gets about the pitch and you can't fault him for effort, but he's a bit of a headless chicken and does very little with the ball and his passing is poor as is his tackling. We would have a decent central midfield 3 with NRC, M Davies & Holden

Haha. I guess I don't think he's as bad as people make out. What PT said is true. If he have better players on the bench it's not Dazza's fault he gets on the pitch. Also, maybe he's better at keeping the ball than the Moo.

Seriously tho, he did ok today. Like someone said elsewhere a bit of a K Nolan with a smaller arse.Luckily Qpr were not really good enough to make the most of our lightweight midfield and were so sloppy ion their passing that even the likes of mavis were able to nick the ball from time to time

Just, as inferred above, a shame that Coyle will see this a san opportunity to justify his selection.

My auntie Maggie could have scored that goal, even after she died.

He could easily have been sent off ... which, according to Coyle was why he brought him off. Nowt to do with his pointlessness.

He did really well with that goal, hung in the air, headed it powerfully, scored...

I reckon he was tons better than your auntie Maggie, who was a great auntie, but a rubbish header of the ball...

But Muamba should be approximately 1250 miles in front of him for selection...

just how much extra Muamba would have brought to the side instead of Pratley today i'm not sure. although many now have him as a mixture of Messi and Yaya Toure- he isn't - just isn't- that good.
more destructiveness in the tackle? pr'haps - but in no small part that is what RC is there for. do we need two essentially the same against fellow strugglers at home?
energy? Pratley seemed to get about at least as much as Moo does
passing? well neither are Johny Giles are they?
oh and
when was the last time Muamba timed a run into the box and scored with his head?
Pratley is more of a goal threat.
