I've been to the Blue Eyed Maid mentioned above too. Got a decent spot near a television, and saw us beat Newcastle, so it was all very pleasant.

Not dead central though.

Quite a few Sam pubs in central London. This chap seems to have mapped them, although I cannot ascertain the veracity of his production.

As OE notes, it won't show the action though. The Sports Café on Haymarket (between Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square) will show it, but so will most pubs with Sky, there's nothing else on. Besides which, last time I watched a Wanderers match in the Sports Cafe we went out of Europe.

Sam Smith's pubs don't show sport though, do they? I know the Blue Eyed Maid and it's within walking distance so I might go there.

You're right, it definitely won't be showing the football (no TV—another plus). For some reason, I had it in mind that we were playing away and he was looking for a pre-stadium drink.

I watched us there when we beat Spurs 4-2, and when we had our comeback against Birmingham at home. Maybe it's a good omen, I'll go there just in case.

I'm going to the same place I saw us beat spuds 4-2 too. Also saw us lose to Chelsea in the Nat match there, but that was a long time ago. Last game I saw there was the 8-2 where ManU beat the Arse. There should at least be goals

Must win game for me, as it will give us the confidence that we can beat those around us and set us up for a run of form.

QPR will see it as must win too, given their harder run in. Can see it being tight and nervy. COYW.

I feel if we lose this, our confidence, what there is of it, will be completely shot. We will go into the final throes of our slow lingering demise with the mentality of a drowning man. Knowing we're doomed & just hoping the end comes quickly. But it's not like we didn't see the quicksand way back in september, when excuses were being made that 'it's okay, we lost to a top 6 side'. Or; 'It's ok, they're going to play out of their skin, they're newly promoted'. Well I for one can't wait for this slow motion car crash of a season to finish. Hopefully with us still in the prem, but I fear the worst with captain calamity in charge.

We had an great little run at the end of last year into the beginning of this, and Coyle knows why it was. The niggling injury to M.Davies (a key part of the 451 model) led to a couple of ill-advised changes (why didn't we see Tuncay given a chance as a direct replacement?), but if he is fit at the weekend then I think Coyle knows his best 11. And I'd hazard a guess that it's:

Steinsson Ream Wheater Ricketts
NRC Muamba
Eagles Mavies Miyaichi
Ngog

Possibly with Petrov on the left and Ryo on the right.

tuncay dropped from squad.altogether last weekend, clearlyit was his (and muamba) fault that we got beat at chelsea.

i think we will see 442 with sordell starting.

then again ream could be deployed in the hole. who knows what the random team and formation generator will throw out this week!?

Bad news I'm afraid, in that my son and I are heading to this game and we've yet to see Bolton score at our two previous trips to the Reebok, or the friendly with Falkirk.
Still looking forward to the match though!
