I like the fact he's talking about keeping a compact shape and trying to break on them.Maybe the penny really has dropped. Just hope he's smart enough to stick with that even if we conceed one or two.

He's fecking read that on here.

Nah,don't underestimate Ivanovic,he is a good player, doing his job great up front and putting a solid performances in the back. Cavani is hard to keep, but we have Petrov left,so it will be joke for him. That's why I'm hoping for 4-5-1 with Miyachi on the left side.

Oh c'mmon,we all know that speed isn't everything,Ryo can't stand up to Ashley Cole (worst England left back ever at my opinion, but good enough to stop us).

Damn,we miss Lee...

I expect/hope whoever plays on the wings will swap flanks just to see where there may be some joy(assuming we occasionally get the ball out to them). Petrov has looked better since coming back but until someone starts attacking the near post he's pissing in the wind.On that basis in a 451 having two footed wide men who can cut inside may more useful than a primarily one footed wideman hammering predictable balls at the near post for an outnumbered frontman who isnt great at attacking the ball anyway.Cole has lost it a bit of late and it wasnt clear why he was left out midweek(fitness or a snub for supposedly telling AVB he's clueless) eitherway Cole and Luiz on that left side may be well worth getting at.And that Cahill lad on the other side looks nervy and can switch off from time to time.

Every game for now on we need points, I'd prefer rubbish football and getting points to survive than attempted decent football that gets us relegated

Get Muamba to eat Mata. Ricketts show Sturridge onto his right and not be tricked be his shoulder drop inside then go out and they've not much. Cept Drogba will spank in a wonder goal as ever.

Agree.

As for Mata,we'll need more than Muamba to stop him. Maybe NRC and him can close him without losing much in the midfield. Another reason to play with 5 people in the middle

Playing Pratleу would be

I don't think you do...anyway,

Muamba is enough for Mata, stop the ball getting there like he does with Gerrard. Meireles and Ramires decent players, but not going to create much if our other ten are compact and well-organised. Mata tends to come in off the left, so if Muamba were following him, would just leave (presumably) Cole down that side. Means Ryo over more dilligent Eagles maybe worth a shout.

Nah,I'll hold to irony.

Anyway, what about Sturridge? With Robinson on left back we could sign 0:3 here and now. With Ricketts it seems better, but hardly enough. And for the first time in many years,I'm not worried about their strikers (except Torres breaking goal drought,as I said earlier).

so we dismiss both Sturridge & Torres from our concerns and, of course, Drogba's shot nowadays ... or are you still in irony mode R-SB ?

Just me that thinks Cole is still one of the best full backs in the world then?

I don't think so (that you're the only one) - but is he actually gonna be playing??

We are a big club! Cheek! He was ok as an Arsenal player but showed a greedy money grabbing side when he moved.
