just watched this over again and still can't believe the talent she had never mind being unbelievably gorgeous. 170m albums, 415 career awards including 2 Emmys and 6 Grammys is quite a feat for any artist, she'll be in my prayers today

Very sad news she had a wonderful voice but then she met that prick Bobby Brown who got her onto drugs and became i addict because of him, he's to blame for her death!

Do we know the exact circumstances surrounding her death? And also, you can take a horse to water................

She was found in a hotel room in the bath that's all i know so far. If she never met him she wouldn't be dead now.

I'll settle for saying a beautiful woman with a great voice died too soon, and leave the rest to the media vultures. R.I.P.

Was there any water in the bath? So let me get this right - you know/knew Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston that well that you can confidently call that if she hadn't met he then she'd have lived a clean an virtuous life? Really?

No Bruce. You misinterpret ... I think deliberately.

Until Witney met Bobby Brown she never bathed. So she'd never have been in the bath ... QED. 8)

[that she'd be alive today]

she might be doing crazy shit on mtv/bet/vh1 with chad ochocinco or terrell owens or summat , but she'd be alive.

I'm not surprised she died if they radioed Houston Ambulance centre.

RIP, but this is no surprise. A great talent that faded out a decade ago - that might have been the time to mourn or, better yet, have tried to do something about it.
