Hi guy’s, first and foremost I’m not here to gloat, I’ve registered because I’ve got a lot of time for Bolton Wanderers and attended the game on Saturday, I’m a season ticket holder. I’m also the owner/founder of a website called Friends of Fulham if any of you have visited at any point. It’s a friendly, down to earth, fully moderated place not like the embarrassing dump of a website like our official. You’re welcome at any time.

Firstly, what’s going on? Since both reaching the Premiership, I’ve never seen you guy’s play like that. For the first time ever, you guy’s came to us with literally nothing to offer and that’s freighting!! I know it’s the same old story year in, year out where we get nothing at yours and you at ours etc by Christ, you look poor. I’m saying that because we’re woeful at the moment under Jol and I’m not one of his biggest fans.

When you guy’s visit the Cottage you always play a tough physical game just like last season in the cup when you turned us over under Hughes. Even if you get beat, we always know that we’ve been in a game and never look forward to playing you at the Reebok. Last season you seamed to be playing some good football under Coyle but this season you look flat, lightweight and just totally disorganised. I don’t understand.

Like Fulham, Bolton are relatively small in the Prem and I think we get about the same travelling support of approximately 2-300 fans if it’s not local. We do everything on a budget but seem to hold our own year in year out. I’ve got good friends that live in Bolton, I like the area and have a lot of time for your club but this season things aren’t looking good for you. Once again, I’m not gloating as we’re not that far behind you and it could get worse if Jol doesn’t pull his fat finger out!!

I hope you beat Blackburn and start to turn things around because not having you guy’s around just wouldn’t be right in my eyes. Apart from the score, I hope that those who travelled down enjoyed the day, would have thought most of you drank in the Eight Bells etc and I did see your little crowd as usual crammed in to the top corner of the Putney end. Even at 2-0 down I heard you loud and proud.

Best of luck guy’s have a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year. My eye will be firmly on your results from here on in.

I think a lot has been said in the other threads mate.

As for our game on Saturday, I've not seen anything of it as I've just come back off holiday but I can't recall ever getting a decent result at your place, I think I've been four times and we've been outplayed by you each time, the most painful one being Andy Cole scoring! Must have been bad on Saturday if we were worse than those days!

Thanks for the sentiment; and you & yours have a wonderful xmas and prosperous new year.

To answer your question(s). Our players are crap, and our manager is shit. Tacticaly nieve, can't coach a defence, and has fallen out with a lot of our players.
On the plus side; he's good at ping-pong.

Can Al Fayed bung us a monkey to put the floodlights on on Boxing Day?

No but you can have a nice Michael Jackson Statue in exchange for Cahill if that helps?

Wouldn't make much of a difference at the mo, so don't get down over your chances on that one.

No but we will swap you your Michael Jackson statue for our Zat Knight Statue. The only difference is our statue gets picked for the team.

What about Michael Jackson's monkey then? :?

Seriously, how did you guys feel when Villa came in for Knight (a man that cost you less balls from Rushall Olympic than your right-back stuck in the Thames on Saturday ;) )

This appears to detail some, but not all of the problems.

Not sure where the Mark Hughes bit comes from though. Perhaps he's seized on one of a1's lucid posts.

I don't get that Mark Hughes thing either..
Quote:
This morning, Coyle stands on the brink of being sacked and, should Bolton lose at Ewood Park tonight, the mechanism is already in place to bring Mark Hughes (right) to the Reebok Stadium.

What a load of old bollocks.

Its certainly come out of nowhere that suggestion...

It would be nice to think that if we did lose tonight we'd bring Hughes in.

Can't see it myself, but equally can't see Eddie Davies just letting the club slump towards the championship without some sort of intervention....

Lots have said Hughes is a no go because he walked out of Fulham wanting a bigger club and a bigger bank balance but he can only sit around for so long waiting. He might consider us until something bigger comes along.. which isn't going to happen any time soon IMO.
