Hello: Been a long-time supporter of our local side, but never been one to say much about it. Maybe I can help the boys by bringing a bit of luck for the regulation push :D . Still plannin on renewing ST to the Bok (more fixtures, lesser price) but my partner decided he's not up to going to the games next season.

Can't blame him. Welcome along, WAS. When were you first introduced to the curse, sorry, blessing of Bolton (no, not Kaku)? Heroes? Villains? Best and worst games? It's not essential, but it's a good practice post

Born into it man. Easy to see, I respect Big Sam. We been a sorry lot for so long, he at least made a believer out of me. Maybe the hopes got up a bit much. Throw a dart at any of the big3 and pool and you can find my villains. More closer to home I would put Sammy Lee on me list but not so big on pointing fingers inward. Indeed, I think realistically we may be heading for my biggest disappointment if we go down this year.

As for best games, I always have a soft spot for beating pool in '93, it got me to thinking the club could go to the Prem. Also, I was at that age where your days were filled with more hope than reality (and not just talking about the footy) :D

Well, something needs to change our luck - even more military types. Welcome WAS.

Well, in my army, a fully-loaded pint is the weapon of choice! :drink: After the Arse put er in the net for 3, I had to call an airstrike on me own house. :drink: :pissed: :vomit:

Me too. The single game that did most to turn the club around. I like the Rioch/todd era so much.

Big Welcome :D

You don't write novels in which one of the main characters, a fine, sober, resolute and morally upstanding chap with finely honed man-management skills, but that nevertheless has to drive around the place in an old banger whilst dressing like he's stolen someone else’s washing do you? :?

Two and a half novels have been written by SOTWA (one now in book form on sale at the Reebok) featuring TW members as characters - perhaps Bruce is referring to his appearance in one of these. Or pehaps it's an obscure reference to Wind in the Willows. Or....
