Camara looks superb. Although I'm well impressed with Crouch at the mo, far cry from his Villa/pompey days

I said we should have gone for both Bernard and Camara before their moves there, we've missed out on two good players.

I'd have to choose Camara out of those, rapid striker. We don't need Crouch as we've got Davies to win flick-ons, still a good player under Redknapp though.

I've voted for Camara, but I'd still be interested in taking Kevin Phillips.

He's a quality finisher and will get into double figures in a season more often than not in the top flight.

He's also got a great mentality. I went to the game when we beat Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in their relegation season and most of the Mackems had given up the ghost. The attitude of a lot of their players was abysmal as they had all accepted they were on their way down. Phillips, though, was still working his arse off up front, chasing lost causes and tackling as if his life depended on it. I really wanted us to get him that summer, but I'd still take him now regardless of his age.

Bernard is one of the worst full backs in the Premiership.

On current form.... I'd like to see Crouch come to Bolton if they were to go down  Certainly doesn't seem shy of scoring at the moment. Wouldn't want Bernard to come, don't rate him at all. Can't say I'm keen on Camera either.

So is every other full back in your opinion. Who the hell do you like? Do you have a positive thing to say about anyone?

One of the worst full backs at defending... probably.

One of the worst full backs at attacking... absolutely not.

The reason I included Barnard/Bernard whatever its supposed to be is that he is one of the best attacking left backs in the premiership, and there aren't necessarily that many.

I think he'd be quite a replacement for Gardner allowing Gardner to push into midfield if required.

I may have changed my mind. Didn't realise that Bernard was available on a free in the summer. With Crouch likely to cost quite big money (especially considering he's now being linked with an England call-up....shudder) and Camara's future being quite unclear (Would we have to buy him off Wolves or are Celtic still going to take their first option on him) I'd say that Bernard on a free would definitely be our best bet.

I think camara's contract is up at the end of this season, at Wolves, who he's still registered with - so thats a free transfer...possibly?

Henri Camara is available on a free transfer from the end of the season as far as I know, his loan contract was supposed to be one with a permanent deal but he hasn't quite taken off.

Even if Southampton did stay up, Henri Camara is still available on a free at the end of this campaign, a bid would be worthwhile as he has proved himself at Wolves and at Southampton in the premiership and might be useful as a fast runner up front.

I don't think we should be looking to take any Prem cast offs... and when do we ever buy anyone from a Prem team anyway? If we do, i would hope its £££ spent on Diouf, and not Crouch or Camara...

In saying that, i'm more inclined to go with Enzo and say Kev Phillips would be a better option... he fights for every ball, and would suit our rough and tumble style of attacking... and he can't half tw@t a football...

I'd rather tie up the Diouf deal first too. Out of the three though I'd probably take Camara.
