It's about little Aborigine kids being forcibly seized from their mothers and being sent to an abusive orphanage several hundred miles away (all factually based). And about a group of three little brothers and sisters escaping and walking hundreds of miles home in search of their mum... I won't tell more, in case you want to watch it...

It's some way different from Watership Down...

Sounds pretty similar to me... tears at bedtime.

Mentioned elsewhere, watched it over the weekend and yes, it does all get rather upsetting, especially after finding out off of you that it's factually based.

I watched Drive the other day and, apart from the music, it was gash.

Fever Pitch has arrived, I'll let you know how it goes.

Just watched it now and absolutely loved it. :D

Are there any more you think I should see?

Read the book if you haven't already.

The one about Crystal Palace is well rated too. 'Debbie Does Palace' I think it's called.

The book is better than the film.

Bizarrely enough the American film version, with football replaced by baseball, isn't bad either. Think Drew Barrymore is in it.

Well, whereas I'm sure the book is better it's highly unlikely that I'll get round to reading it having seen the film.

I shan't be watching the American version of anything, ever!

And Ruth Gemmell > Drew Barrymore anytime ae:)
