Went out for a very wet run and came back to a lovely hot bath with a Lush bath bomb, cup of tea and a good book before stepping out into nice warm PJ's.... Mmmmm.

What makes you feel contented? (Answer's more original then '3 points for Bolton Wanderers on a saturday afternoon welcomed ;) )

Booze, footy and my Ladbrokes accumulator behaving itself. Pretty much in that order actually.

If it's not the weekend then I dunno- justice, integrity, seeing the innate goodness of my fellow man...

I'm guessing a bath-bomb isn't letting off in the bath??? cos that brings ultimate contentment...

As soon as I saw the title, I said to myself, I bet this post contains the words "bath bomb".

What a clever sod I am.

A Portuguese beach.

Golden bream landed this morning.

A flask of wine.

A book of verse.

And her beside me in the wilderness...

We've got a thread about what we're wearing, now we've got one about bath bombs.

When did this forum merge with Cosmopolitan Online?

A day out at Twickers for an England win. :-)

A walk across the hills with the rain stinging yer cheeks followed by a decent thaw out in a local hostlery.

Can't recall the last time I actually had a bath (as opposed to a shower)

Your opposition to showers extends to baths?

Used to be DVDs that Would make me go into bliss, but I have quit. (still would buy 1 dvd every so often)

Joshin' aside, it's really simple things that make me go "Ahhhh, bliss". The one that springs to mind is taking my boots off, donning the scruffs and lying on the sofa with a hot Vimmy after walking the dog around the three rezzies.

Playing football in miserable conditions, then getting home and sitting in front of the fire with a beer..

There is a point in time when I'm running at a particular pace where everything clicks.

A small window when I'm not breathing hard, can feel no niggling pains and the sweat's not cascading into my eyes. It can be anywhere, across a field, towpath bridleway or road but suddenly everything aligns and I'm running free and feel like I could carry on for hours.

That's bliss.
