The wuest tell you to speak to the bird.. Which I did, and she says "You can't go in to a party dressed like that"so I had to give her my gear to carry on.. Grrrrr

Try nerfing the fight difficulty. And/or the other things I suggested.

If all else fails, kidnap a 12 year old off the street as they have about 15 thumbs these days and tell them they're not getting let out until they've beaten this particular fight.

You could always wait until you're a few levels higher/stronger and return later (I think) but would probably use a different save slot etc...

Have you tried going back to her hidden room at the inn in Riverwood? It's a while ago but I'm sure she stores your things in there.

When you sneak behind the bar at the party, did you go into the room where the elf stores your stuff too? Worth a look?

I did the exact same thing. I gave up after a few attempts and went back after I'd levelled up a lot more and knew a few more shouts.

My only advice is to sneak a lot, hide a lot, and save a lot. As soon as you kill someone, run away and hide in another room until you're back to full health, then save.
Also, if you can find any quests that involve retrieving a weapon for someone, find the weapon, but don't return it. Quest-related items won't be removed from your inventory when you give everything to that bitch.
I was lucky and had a quest-related staff which summoned a flame atronach. A lot of the time, I managed to hide and summon the atronach to do the dirty work.
It took me about 2 hours, but I did it eventually.

One more thing...When you first enter the embassy, in the room full of party guests, there's a knife on one of the tables.



Nope. Your items only appear in the chest once you've completed the quest. Actually, once you give her your stuff, it's a cut scene that takes you to the Embassy, and there's no way out until you finish the quest.

Ordered the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, completely bemused as to why they haven't included the first game. I'd buy it for that alone, but never really played the 3rd and enjoyed the 2nd, so why not.

Jeez...first spell you get (I think given to you) when you visit Winterhold. Cast's a fire nuking thing, that you can cast in front of you, as you head through dungeons n stuff....leaving you quite happily out of harms way.

Played the demo. It's pretty turd. Wouldn't spend £40 sheets on it. Not in a million years.
