i know a few of you have one and i'm well overdue a good gossip about the owd xbox

first and foremost if you haven't discovered xbox live arcade WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?

Sonic and Golden Axe last week, Wing Commander and Sensible Soccer this week. They're giving us classic old games and adding the functionality of playing over Xbox Live, achievements and the headsets for some amazing gaming experiences. Added to Worms and Doom which I already have absolutely loving it

my advice is buy a big hd tv to play it on :mrgreen:

then stick on Gears of War and be amazed

I think you eventually get a red ring of death if you keep it on a carpet. At the moment I've got it on an upturned Christmas dinner mat.

Not gone online on it for a while, I'm a bit wary of playing Sensible Soccer though - no joystick & it may ruin the memories of it being the best game ever.

Don't do it SOTWA.

You know the rule, never buy a console til it has had a year on the market and amassed some decent games etc.

except this time. they've got 000s of the things inwarehouses and have dropped the price in the us, but you're still expected to pay full whack. :crazy:

There are ZERO decent PS3 games out yet.

Also you need a high-end HD TV.

I have to admit Batman is right. Wait for MGS 4, GTA etc before getting one because at the moment it's not worth it.
