The manager carries the can for failure with supporters. Didn't notice people blaming the players much under the last bloke either!

Your completely missing my point, when. It just seems when someone asks about a player no one seems say anything, and then at a jump at a hat your back on slating coyle.
I never said anything about giving the players abuse but were supposed to support Bolton an there are players worth talking about, not saying slating them, you know just general conversations about the player on this post.

But no all anyone seems to have an opinion on is coyle.

Ye we haven't seen much of sordell that's why I asked!

So.................. Sordell, anyone?!

Generally, if you're not half bad I could agree with that but - goal disallowed a foot and a half into the net, pengy turned down for Jackburn at our gaff, pengy given for us against Wolves, of a nature that I've seen not given. He could have steered us to less points than Terry Connor had he had a bit of bad luck along the way.

A bit of bad luck? That'd be bad luck like having his best players nobbled by red shite and non-league non-entities, one of them having an on-pitch heart attack, having his squad decimated by illness, addictions and family issues, not to mention injuries, and combined with the worst beginning to a fixture list ever dreamed of? That kind of bad luck? God forbid that he'd have to go through that....

I'm not saying that Coyle hasn't been a bit shit, nor that he hasn't made a massive fooking mess of the season, but to suggest he HASN'T had bad luck is a bit misleading...

Have you forgotten the real reason for the thread? That was the bizarre explanation provided by Coyle for the non-playing of Sordell, not about Sordell the player. After all, we got bugger all chance to see him in action so perhaps you are not asking the question of the right people.

I would suggest you get on to Watford FC or Stuart Pearce or.........no I won't state the v obvious

really?????? some of the players got dog's abuse!!!

No the 'players' didn't, the ones stood around playing with their balls and generally adding the total sum of sweet FA did

No the real reason for the thread says "OC says sordell to be given a chance this season, not just "coyles reason for not playing sordell.

Ummm...
He said Sordell to be given a chance this season, therefore confirming he wasnt given a chance last season, thus stating his reasons for that.

Ok never mind, if I started a new thread called "sordell, how do we
Think he will do next season" people will still go on about coyle so I give up.

For what it's worth I also think he will do ok as it appears he has pace and if he likes a bit of direct running at defences, then all the better. It would have been nice to be in a position to know what he can/can't do but that brings the argument back full circle.

The new Michael Ricketts. Kevin Davies can play the role of Dean Holdsworth.

Play Off Champions 2012/13.

Easy.

with a striker that scores 20 from the bench in 4 months ?

play off champs ?

it'll take some specially crafted owen magic to feck up that march to the title.

:/

more importantly, i've seen the division.

half arsed zat'll look like mandini's long lost better half brother.

if we dont win by at least 5 goals every week with crazy coyle football , then he and gartside really do want sacking.

we'll get double figures at least 4 times.

My post wasn't exactly intended to start a conversation about how well we will/won't do next season. It was simply a bad joke in reference to us mirroring the 2000/2001 season with our current players.

However, I'd settle for us getting double figures at least four times, especially if two of those are against Burnley.

The only thing I have against Burnley is palming us off with defective goods
