And Mourinho at Chelsea, won plenty there. Winning the league cup with Liverpool and keeping west ham up might not be as prestigious, but they're significantly better achievements than the current coaching staff have on their CV's.

Massive budget at Liverpool, won a Carling Cup, leading to the sacking of manager. West Ham survived by the skin of their teeth, with the manager being sacked.

It seems his only "success" is being coach for a man who wins everything, everywhere with seemingly limitless budgets. I'm not surprised he has better achievements on his CV. Just not in the environment we are in.

Not really convinced why he has such a good rep.

Don't think you can really judge a coach by the results either way. Too many other factors....

I wonder if installing Sammy Lee as assistant has been considered. Surely he remembers enough from the Big Sam days to make us a little harder to beat.
