Frenchman Bedi Buval was signed as a 16 year old back in 2002, he played a number of reserve team games but never quite made the grade and after a succession of injuries (sound familiar!!), the most serious being an horrific knee injury that I saw happen in a reserve game at Leyland, left the club in 2006. After playing for various teams in Denmark, Greece, Poland and Portugal he has now come on the radar of Brendon Rodgers at Swansea.:

No doubt we'll get a number of posters who with excellent hindsight, say we should have kept him at the club!!

We should've kept him. And Dzemaili.

I can't believe Coyle released them.. It was Coyle wasn't it? I mean they had bad injury problems, so it must've been!

I think Dzemaili and Jon (wanker) Walters are currently the only two players who we have let go as a 'reject' that have actually come good. Not bad going considering we've seen about 300 go through the door since the Allardyce days.

David Norris did 'alright' in fairness. Was a solid Championship player and has probably made a good living for himself

It's taken these players years after leaving to come up to speed though, same with Vaz Te, no qualms releasing them

Oh, without a doubt. their release was justified in all cases. Especially when you hear rumours that Vaz Te was earning close to £20k per week before he got seriously injured.

Oh, and if anyone wants to dig it out, theres a thread on the reserves bit where I said we should keep him because I saw real potential the times I went to see him. And he's moved for combined fees of e16m since he left us. Just wow.

So you can all stick yer "I told you so's" up yer collective arses, cos mines at least 4 years old.
