1) We don't have to suffer at the hands of the "top 4" next season.

2) According to Coyle we have already sorted a couple of "contracts" out with our out of contract players.

3) We have a season long loan deal still for a Chelsea player.

4) LCY whilst rusty, looks like he hasn't lost too much confidence or pace

5) Sordell in his brief spell yesterday looked the part.

6) We will get rid of the perma-crocks and Paul Robinson and maybe Zat Knight....

7) We won't have to watch Boyata at RB again

8) Holden is due back for pre season (fingers crossed)

9) Eddie is still backing us

10) The Man Utd fans at work are very quiet......

Nice one – been feeling pretty sick this morning, but that's helped.

Can't wait to see more of Sordell... On yesterday's evidence it seems mad that he was left on the bench all this time. Looked more than ready to me.

Which players? Only if it turns out he's given Robbie Blake & Zat Knight a lucrative 5 year deal each I won't be celebrating it.

I think Blake has already been released. I suspect KD (though not entirely thrilled with that, but I guess his experience is helpful) and possibly Ricketts? Dunno. But in the championship several of the out of contracts could do a job for a year.....

"Confirmed" by SKD's wife that he's signed a new contract. Assuming it's on massively reduced terms, I think that's very good news. How many years of Premier League experience is that?

We will be one of the top four next season

2) According to Coyle we have already sorted a couple of "contracts" out with our out of contract players.

http://www.lionofviennasuite.com/2012/5 ... s-contract

3) We have a season long loan deal still for a Chelsea player.

Can we get Gary Cahill back?

4) LCY whilst rusty, looks like he hasn't lost too much confidence or pace

Agreed. He'll light up the Championship

5) Sordell in his brief spell yesterday looked the part.

And is proven at this level

6) We will get rid of the perma-crocks and Paul Robinson and maybe Zat Knight....

Savings to be made on wages will soften the impact of the Sky money being pulled

7) We won't have to watch Boyata at RB again

Unless we watch Match of the Day before the Championship show comes on

8) Holden is due back for pre season (fingers crossed)

He is the perennial rubber ball

9) Eddie is still backing us

I'm sending him some Seven Seas by courier

10) The Man Utd fans at work are very quiet......

The one in my office asked me what their score was yesterday. Honestly

See? lifa ain't so bad. Now come on MK Dons and get promotion so that's another game I can go see next season. :oyea:

1) Muamba's still alive.

2) Fresh start, fresh fixtures, fresh away days.

3) Looking forward to see who steps up from the rezzies and yoofers.

4) Hopefully, if they are still with us and back to fitness, Lee and Holden can tear the league a new one (until they are inevitably sold off in Jan)

5) Chance to clean out the dead wood. Boy, is there a lot of it.

6) Seeing if Coyle says npower Championship in every pissing interview

7) We've got an owner who, fingers crossed, isn't one for jumping.

8) More games for the season.

9) Chance for some cup upsets as an underdog.

10) Er, I hear Charlton's nice in the spring.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing how well we can do in the championship if we can keep a good nucleus together.
The ones that dont want to stay can feck off with my blessing, but they may find a distinct lack of premier league takers !

Defense for me is the worry. Riley - ?????? - Ream - Hopefully Ricketts?

Just hope we can use the savings made on getting rid of Knight, Robinson etc and bring in someone who can lead at the back. Something I think we have missed all season.

A vocal leader at centre half to be brought in.

Klasnic & Petrov will both probably bugger off to their native countries to win a couple of domestic titles before they retire.

I can guarantee Klasnic will not be signing for Bayern Munich...

12. Megson got sacked so at least when we play Wednesday he won't be laughing at our misfortune...

13. Fifa and Football Manager will be a little bit more interesting next season.

Downsides:
1. Have to stay up later to watch highlights.
