Where is D-Pratz in all of this? Hopefully being sold to Bury.

Personally, I'd play Sordell and... Mark Davies up front. Davies dropping off, like.

Wouldnt surprise me if Mavis saunters off to a PL team.

To be honest pratley is one I want to hold onto for next season because he's proven at this level

9 League goals in a campaign is not shabby for a midfielder which is what he got last time he took on this league

Mavies is one of the ones most likely to be poached by a prem club, remember west brom going for him in Jan? pratley could actually be a decent replacement

Very much hoping to keep Pratley. He will go well down there.

Mavies can jog off to the likes of WBA or Sunderland.
As I've said all season, if he wasn't English he'd be given far more criticism.
Seems a nice lad and was clearly upset last night on arrival back at the Reebok but if offered more than £2-3m I'll taxi him wherever he wants to head.

Keeping 2 (hopefully 3) of NRC, Pratley & Holden will be great. Add Vela and we'll go well

Enquiries in for Holden already.

I don't think they'll be looking at Holden until at least January.

He's played 1 game in over 12 months.

We also have this chelsea loan apparently

http://thechels.info/wiki/Sam_Hutchinson

http://thechels.info/wiki/Nathaniel_Chalobah

might want someone more experienced if theyre gonna be partnering the relatively inexperienced ream next season. there are players like Lukaku and McEachran but I cant see them going below the premier league on loan

Pratley can't even control a football and wasn't exactly highly rated by Swansea fans, from what I've heard. Awful player. I'd much rather see Vela or any given reserve player step up instead.

Doubt Holden's going anywhere yet.
People will monitor and give him half a season to see if he's still got it, if he's still the same player.

I'd reckon he'd well be worth a punt for someone. £5m would tempt us, isn't a big risk for the buying club, and they could have a top player on their hands.

Wouldn't be a huge loss either.

Totally overrated.

And if they are? How much do you reckon we'd let him go for?

Look I know his name's dirt on here but even Nixon is saying there is a big question mark over whether Holden can play properly again. And he's MR "everything is great, going down is great".

So if he's saying it, I suspect we won't be seeing anyone coming in for him till he's had a good season under his belt.

Also according to Nixon, in response to someone asking if there'd be money for transfers this season:

"Wouldn't count on that happening ... U don't really need any."

Perhaps, but he's also our best and only 'footballer' currently fit. Overrated is more than good enough for us.

Pratley chases shadows, can't pass, can't tackle - can't affect a game in any way. If you want a workmanlike defensive midfielder, we need to be looking at other options. If we want an attacking midfielder, we should look to Mavies imv.

Seeing what he brought to the team last year, I don't think we'd even bat our eyelids at anything under £6 mil, perhaps dropping that to £4 mil come January. Would be much more of a loss than Cahill, and much harder to replace, as our relegation has shown.

edit: Holden I mean..

What way does Mark Davies affect a game? Most of the time he's a passenger IMO.

If he's an attacking midfielder then he needs to add 10 goals a season or so to his tally.

Don't think he's great and if we're playing 4-4-2 I think NRC and Pratley or NRC and Holden could be pretty good. Also have young Vela to add in the mix. Possibly Muamba too.

Wouldn't WANT to sell Davies but for a decent price, I think we could live with it. He's never ever ever going to make it as a CM in the premiership unless a midfield is built around him. And for me he's not good enough for that!

Calm down. Our strikers haven't even hit double figures!

Agreed that he seems like a square peg in a round hole at the minute though. Just doesn't work in a 4-4-2.
