So - how many points do you think...

Obviously - de rigeur - we are domed...

Well, one point would take us above QPR on level games, so I wouldn't be too unhappy with a draw. I'd be over the moon with a win and sick as a parrot with a loss.

Just let's not fool ourselves that any of the remaining games will be easier than playng Barcelona. Spurs are all out for glory and West Brom and Stoke will show no favours in trying to beat us. If ever there was a time for focus, it's now. Nothing less than 100% will do.

A draw is the realistic result which leaves us with the likely prospect that Hodgson ”I'm in England Heaven' maybe distracted and gift us a win. A long shot I know

Meanwhile in QPR-land.

They could well beat them and we're 100% down unless we beat Chelsea.

POSITIVES:
loving the history being on our side at home,
sporadic Spurs winning yesterday on a short turnaround,
Chelsea being in the Big Cup final meaning one less automatic spot making the top teams competitive
Our two remaining games against comfortable teams like Sunderland
Muamba showing up could be a boost,
SKD back at his barging best -
let's nick it 2-1, and leave Spurs desperate for points playing Aston Villa on Sunday!

4 points should be enough, 3 won't do with our horrid goal difference, omens are good. if we don't escape we'll have no-one to blame but ourseleves (ie. Owen Coyle, Zat Knight, Phil Gartside etc.) COYFWM!

My days of doing mid-week away games are long gone. So, unfortunately, no. Not sure what our support will be like - fairly decent probably as we do have a lot of Northern Spurs that bulk up the numbers.

spurs tend to turn to jelly when they enter fortress reebok but i think last year when we beat them they were missing bale and vdv? i do fear we could be too open and bale & lennon could cause us a lot of problems down the flanks.

Do feel this is the pivotal game.

Put QPR back into the bottom three, even with just a point, and it piles the pressure onto them for their game against Stoke.

Lose and QPR will see it as a reprieve for their awful performance yesterday and could well batter Stoke with the renewed confidence they could gain.

Bottom line is that a point against Spurs will be ok, but is a minimum at this stage and would make West Brom (MUST WIN) which would be pressurised but I guess thats where we are now.

If Spurs beat us then QPR are favourites in my book.

I think we'll win this. It'll be an awful, dreary game like but we'll just edge it. 2-1.

I don't think it'll be anything like dreary. I'm expecting an open game and hopefully we can nick something. I'd be okay with a point. But I'd dearly love all 3.

Let's raise the roof though and do our bit.

Last time they came up for a league game I think it was the time we beat them 4-2. There was a fanfair about how well they were playing and we were a bit nervous. Turned out alright.

There are better ways of putting it- but "this is our house!"

WTF?!!!

You have predicted we would get slaughtered in our last 8 games (14 points).

Get back on the cider.

Everytime we have a chance to get ourselves out of "danger" we blow it, so Spurs are bound to beat us.

Their last visit was days after Bale had destroyed Inter, and was being drooled over by every media commentator in the world. Steinsson had him in his pocket the entire afternoon.

Just seen pics of today's training on the official Facebook page and Tuncay, Robbo and Davis feature prominently. They have had a few of the sessions on there recently and Tuncay hasn't been anywhere to be seen, so I guess he's back from wherever he was.

By the looks of it, Petrov, SKD, Wheats, Ricketts and Reo Coker weren't involved due to the short week. No sign of Pratley either... What the flock has gone on with him? Must be some heavy virus!

I think regarding the virus they probably just turned round to Pratley and said stay home. Last thing we need in a relegation fight is for everyone to be getting sick as a dog. That sort of thing can wipe out the entire squad not just one player. Probably precautionary more than anything.

When was his last match though? It seems like weeks ago! I certainly understand staying away from the squad
