Having never been in Nando's in my life, is it entirely possible they have anythng remotely healthy on the menu?

I don't think it's particularly unhealthy: flame-grilled chicken, rice—certainly better than McDonald's. Probably a lack of vegetables, though.

Corn on the cob ... coleslaw .... olives .... humous .... plus chicken in various spices/sauces.

There are worse menu's.

It sounds like the guy either can't drive, or was nervous to do so in an unfamiliar town. I still believe this to be a poor show by the club. It's not like buying him was spung upon the club, they chased him for a month.

Sordell, I understand, is staying in the local homeless shelter and living off fish & chips.

I've been a few times with the kids - and i can confirm that there is nothing healthy on the menu - everything on the menu is, in fact, dead.

they do have "limitless" coke and frozen yoghurt, though...

,,, ask for tap water & they give you a glass for the dispenser just the same, for nowt. Not your fault if some 7-up or whatever slips in there.

OT I'm in agreement with bobo...the food thing caught my eye cos if a players diet aint right it can I imagine impact on fitness. Given he is english speaking how hard would it be for one of the lads to take him under their wing? I mean what do we pay Robbie Blake for?

 there's a few off here that would confirm that i'm not who you're suggesting i am, any how believe what you want to.

I went to Nando's with my cousin after he banged on about it like fine dining. Its acceptable and pretty pricey for what it is. Nowt special and probably won't be going again.

Got to say thats pretty terrible man management from Coyle. Like others have said I just can't imagine that happening under Allardyce. Didn't we have some sort of player liaison that dealt with this sort of stuff? Under the guidance of Megson, Lee and Coyle it seems we have dismantled all the off field work Allardyce had put in.

Have to agree with this to some extent. A well-paid player who lives, temporarily, in a first class hotel with a restaurant and could surely arrange his meals there or at least explain the problem to the club. I just cannot believe they'd just ignore him. There are pubs with food,, McDonalds, said Nandos and a supermarket selling multiple sandwiches on his doorstep and it was a very temporary arrangement anyway. Not like he's snow-bound in a cottage on top of Winter Hill.

He's a Yank!!! Service means service to them, not it'll be a min or two or maybe tomorrow!
I think their opinion of us is the same as our opinion of the Spanish when your trying to get something sorted.

Aye, but the Spanish having a different language and trying to deal with people who shout "Hoy, Manwell, dos eggos and baconos pour for four" like they're talking to deaf idiots is just a bit different.
