Nope. Which is why I've been against his participation so far. But who else? Ream?

I'd go with the same players as last game with Mark Davies replaced by Tuncay. Fresh legs for Mark Davies coming on late on running at defenders should be interesting at least.

Ream should stay at CB with Wheater. Wouldn't change that for the rest of the season. In fact wouldn't change the back four for all the games left (unless injuries force a decision). Steady back line would be good.

Kevin Davies as he has been playing lately is a starter for me. Klasnic as a sub guaranteed to come on. Let him know his role and use that.

Reo-Coker shouldn't run past the half way line. He should be there to look for things like players cutting inside. Basically a sweeper in front on the back four.

Miyaichi as close to super Kev as possible. Any flick on and he should be off like a rocket. Hard to pick him up when he's given a free role round Kevin Davies. Trouble is he's been given the RM slot and having to take people on which isn't doing him favours at the min.

Eagles on the right. Petrov on the left.

So Reo Coker in midfield on his own? ;-)

Not sure Tuncay has ever played centre mid.

I'd play him behind the striker, but he'll still need 2 behind him.

Options are there few, but I doubt even Coyle would go with a line-up that death-or-glory.

Especially as it seems Tuncay will only play if the rest of the squad contract ebola.

Is he the Cameroonian at Gala? Didn't know we were in for him!

I always worry about us when we go to play a team with no strikers and who aren't scoring

He looks like he's struggling with football in general to be honest

Exactly.

My dad got it spot on when he said Mark Davies will have "potential" until the day he retires.

He's just not up to it.

We've tried him in 4 positions. In different systems to acommodate him. He hasn't produced

He was playing well with two tackling midfielders behind him in a 4-2-3-1. Trouble is, that formation didn't last long before being changed by a gung-ho manager and a life-threatening illness to one of the tacklers.

He did well in that system, tis true.

However, he hasn't shown enough goalscoring aptitude nor passing craft to be a top player in that role either.

IMHO.

I've been extremely confident about this fixture for a while now. I know it's Bolton and you should probably not get too hopefuly but everything about this game is positive for me. Villa are struggling at the moment - seriously struggling. Remarkably, you can still get 14/1 that they'll go down, which is just baffling to me. I think we'll beat them and if we do, they will be well and truly in the relegation mix. A fanbase who loathe their inept manager, who got his last team relegated. Not only that, but his current Villa side are riddled with injuries.

We can beat them and I think we will. I'm never too optimistic being a Bolton fan but if we didn't win this game clearly, I'd be shocked. Only then would I think we're going down.

I'd not be shocked if we beat them, equally I'd not be shocked if we didn't.

I think given Mark Davies is maybe out and Pratley deffo is, we're going to be struggling in midfield, well we are as it is even with those players....

For me it really is the absolute last chance saloon though!

I think having Vela in will do us good providing he's up to it. It'll at least give us two "proper" CMs and then Davies (if fit)/Eagles/Tuncay in the more attacking role.

See all these formations? Why does everysingle one of our players need a player behind to 'back him up' for when he 'feck up'?

It's like some kind of daisy-chain where each man is worse than the one infront of him.

What ever happend to them worrying about us?

The inclusion was down to the contribution of Davies instead of N'Gog. Think its been marginal difference but i'd say it has seemed more effective.
