One hell of a match to throw him into.

I'm not sure though. He's good from what (little) I've seen of him but if we want Mavies to play as the advanced one of a three I think Vela would get overrun...just not developed physically. Could drop Mavies back and push Vela on but that's a lot of responsibility on young shoulders.

If we were thinking that why did we not bring him on when Pratters went down the other day? ...or at any point this season?

Any one friends with BWFC on Facebook, that Josh vela had a arguement with a fan on it, it was pathetic, got to a "my dads harder than your dad", and a "i earn more money than you" stage.

he was annoyed that someone had slated a performance, think he might have to get used to that.

He is still a kid and a childish one at that, I wouldnt risk him in a big big game.

Probs been mentioned before but "Sean Davis" anyone?

Was fit and ready for action post-Bristol City, then broke both legs and cracked four ribs whilst putting his shin pads on in training.

Davis injured. I think more likely to go with Ream with Knight at back. Vela can't be thrown into this. We will need experience.

Bottom line is I'd rather give a debut to a promising youngster than play Knight at the back.

Twinkletoes has gone from bit-part player to first-team regular this season and is now doing a passable impression of a responsible midfielder. Which is a shame in a way because we need Mavies in a free role and bombing on, but such are the constraints of our squad. I'd entrust him and NRC to do the heavy-lifting whilst giving a chance to someone new in front of them. Eagles has done nothing to suggest he's good enough for the role, so I don't see why it has to be him. I just want to keep Ream at CB, where he's looked throroughly competent so far, unlike someone else I could mention.

Do you see attacking goals, or set pieces (especially now that Miyaichi has shown there's at least one player who can loft corners above the first man)?

I'm seeing our wide men getting on the score sheet with maybe Tuncay scoring a pearler. Then again......a Wheater header perhaps....Quien sabe?

And it's about time N'Gog stopped trying to emulate Torres too. At this rate Boggers'll end up with more goals than him.

Some people seem keen to write bolton off for this one, keep in mind terry connor has never won a football match in his managerial career :) 2-1 whites, again, for me.
