i think the fact he's survived a massive heart failure is a testiment of the quick thinking medical guys at the game. He's a lucky, lucky boy.

From here the hospital staff will examine his heart with x-rays and ultra sound to discover what went wrong. They will fix it and, being young, fit and otherwise healthy, your lad will make a fully recovery.

I'm afriad his football days are over, but he should be OK if they are successul in diagnising the fault in his heart.

hope you guys don't mind me sticking my oar in, but i have a little knowledge on these matters

This is the list of prognosis. Stable is basically categorised as he's in no immediate danger for the time being. Pupil dilation, pulse and heart 'sounds' are usually signs of a stable condition

In general, no information can be released at all without patient consent, unless there are exceptional circumstances. If consent is withheld, it would not be possible for the hospital to state even that fact to the press, since it would confirm that the patient is receiving treatment.

But that's good information TKIZ thanks, because at this time keeping people, accurately informed is vital.

A 5 Live 606 caller also confirmed this. A bloke from the stand he was in, announcing himself as being a cardiologist, volunteered himself after a few mins and was with Moo when he left the pitch.

No, in the circumstances, very good news. I think all we can read into it is that they have got his heart going again and that he is not having any more episodes of whatever happened during the game.

The most likely thing to have happened is that his heart went into an abnormal rhythm - hence the attempts to defibrillate him. There are lots of potential causes of this. Sky is reporting that he is at The London Chest, which is a specialist cardiology (and respiratory and cadiothoracic surgery) hospital. I can assure you that he is in about the best place he could be.

I'm not going to speculate about what has happened or what the future holds as it is all guess work and will be of no use to Fabrice or anyone on this forum: we are just going to have to wait and see. Suffice it to say, that if what we are hearing about his condition is correct then it is about as good as could be expected at this point.
