I've been totting up the cost of following my beloved team in a typical season and I've estimated that come the end of this season I'll have spent around £2k (my mrs and lad included). A mate of mine who supports the Scum will have spent over £5k following them at home and away including Europe this season. How much does it cost you?

$55 AUD a month plus VHS Tapes to tape the matches

So Roughly 37 Pounds a month not including tapes

I have to go up 2 package levels to get the Footy channels here in the states. So roughly 20.00 USD a month. Plus when you consider the 75.00 yearly for wanderers ways and the gear I buy it's more like 30.00-40.00 a month.

If I were in England it would definitely be a lot more, but for now it's a time and mental commitment. Getting up early, missing out on daytime gatherings for later games, leaving work early for weekday matches, etc......

Havent made it to the Reebok since the Plovidiv game unfortunately.

In Murica you can get foxsoccer.tv on your computer which gives you every PL game for 7 days after they are played with many live. You need a decent internet.

I don't think it costs very much per month.

My first couple of years down here I spent about £10k watching us with trains planes and automobiles to get back up to Bolton, "refreshments" and various other expenditure.... Would have been a damn sight cheaper if I was tea-total...

Since getting rid of the season ticket I think its probably down to a couple of hundred quid a season.

Do you not get free tickets David? Riley not give you his spares? Zico seems to do ok!

Costs usually travelling and refreshments...BWFC tickets very favourable in price. Its time as well - Leeds to Bolton for an evening game on the shitty m62...puts you off

David?? No, I have a ST along with my Mrs and my lad, I could get free tickets for most games if I wanted them but I'd rather give those to others who appreciate a freebie now and then and give my money to the club, there are a few on here that have benefitted and will do in the future I guess.

Not as much as travelling to Leeds from Liverpool after a days work, no tea, walking a mile and a half in fog and then finding yourself locked out and having to travel back to Bolton. Now that really puts you off.

Travelling from Bolton to Horwich has been bad enough this season.

Paying a couple of workmen to beat my arseprint out of the armchair twice a season costs me about a grand a year alone.

Cant remember the price, but it put me off. Have to remember I am already paying 100.00 to get my cable and about 20.00 of that is to be able to watch the whites on the telly.

Not to mention I could downgrade other packages that you need to have to get to the Soccer Channels.

Then I'd have to depend on the internet to get me that site, and I pay 50.00 for mediocre service as it is.

Holy Shit I need to cut some costs here. :|
