Although I think he's a great guy, I think Coyle and his cronies are pretty much clueless when it comes to managing a football team.

Could anyone clarify his position contract-wise at the end of the season for me?

Its unclear. He signed a 2 and a half year deal when he joined I think. Which would take him out of contract.

His media mate says he's not out of contract in the summer though.

That's what I can't understand. Would you want to keep him though? I don't even think he'd be any good in the Championship.

If we go down I'm not convinced we could attract any better.......

If we stay up, well, job done.

I don't think he's done much wrong in the last few weeks. It's taken him too long to get to grips with our situation this year, too long to realise we're shite and need to scrap every point out.

But we are where we are. Its obvious that Coyle has perhaps taken a "literal" battering over tactics and has perhaps his unending confidence in 4-4-2 has been shaken a bit which is a good thing.

If we go down then he will be judged pretty quickly next season I would have thought. We would need to be in the promotion places pretty early on in the season I'd have thought or the ESL will probably start to lose its patience......

SERIOUSLY??? I doubt anyone who supports or is involved in the club or even tools like yer dingle mate Nixon expected us to be were we are with the AntiChrist at the helm!
Job nearly done I reckon he could have taken the club to a level he is capable of managing at!

I have to agree.

The least a club like us has to be is organised, and we're so far from that it's untrue.

He's had plenty of time and quite a bit of money and we look even worse than this time last year!

I think he deserves to be sacked, but I don't expect he will be

I'd not be shocked if he walked away in the summer

I suspect he's mentally fcuked over

Garty's keeping him 'cos he has a plan. F*ck knows where it is though, it was written on the back of a beer mat and has gone missing behind a radiator somewhere.........

I doubt that. Won't get another job so well paid as ours, and certainly not one where he'd still be in a job at this point.

Isn't he now in his longest spell at any club? As manager, anyway, I can't be arsed checking the dozen or so clubs he played for...

I don't think his head is addled. And he's Scottish, of course he thinks about the money!

I'm in this camp, deserves to be sacked (but I said that last November), don't think he will be.

Not convinced he'll walk away.

He'll be here again next year, he won't walk away even if we go down, and I can't see us not renewing his contract.
