Thankyou boys.

Ivan and Stelios you have been immense.

Shame we couldnt have Stelios for another season, but perhaps better to bring in some fresh blood than offer another 3 years.

Ricardo & Jussi offered new deals

Story here http://www.bwfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Ge ... 61,00.html

Shame about Campo and Stel - understandable though - Stelios always seemed to bring something to the game when he came on as a sub!

Guthrie has gone back to Liverpool - wonder if we'll be buying him?

not surprised.

Kinda glad Ando is off, never impressed me in the same way he seems to have brainwashed other BWFC fans. Never understood why he was rated so highly based on very little......

Shame for Ivan, but once your legs have gone in the Prem you end up being a liability (see Speedo and Fat Kev as well).

Bizarre move waiting all this time and re-negotiating with Jussi, but then again, Mugson and bizarre go well together.

Thanks for the memories Stel, and the great website threads.

Sad to see Campo go, but it's probably overdue. Pissed off about Stelios though I reckon he could still do a job.

Have we got any of the squad left? :?

Absolutely agree, Hoss. Always a goal in the lad, but maybe it doesn't suit us to pay what he can command for a guy that is ultimately a bit-part player, nor him to not be playing regularly.

Campo and Stelios will be fondly remembered for a long time to come. Andranik had the brain for this level but not the physical side. Shame he didn't progress as we'd have hoped. Ian Walker offered terms too.

Sinclair has been offered new terms too - interesting move seen as he's currently 4th choice right back (Stein, Hunt, O'Brien)... wonder whether we're looking at converting him back to being a striker/right winger?

I see Braaten is still at the club, I know he's got a year left on his deal but I thought we would have paid it up to get him to piss off back to wherever he came from!

No surprised, but some other donkeys need to go e.g. Braaten, Meite etc.

Were they at the end of their contracts? Not certain but didn't Ivan sign a new deal last summer? :?

Stelios to Hull of they come up?

True, but if no-one's prepared to pay a fee for them, and if we'd have to pay up the remaider of their contracts anyway then we may as well just keep them as squad fodder.

campo the right decision

unsure about the other two, just hope we don't let the squad size diminish back to like it was in 2006/07

At least it signals intent, Megson wouldn't let three players go if he didn't have some players lined up.

Aye, I could understand Campo being released with a big thank-you, but Stelios has looked ok every time he's come on this season, albeit for fleeting moments.

Agree with the comments on Stelios - he's made some valuable contributions and still looks like he could do a job. Perhaps, though, he's on more money than you'd want a player who only gets a few minutes here and there to be on.

Sad to see Campo go, but for sentimental reasons, not footballing ones.

Andranik, the enigma... I'm not sure I'll ever understand his story entirely! There have been times when I thoight he could be our Owen Hargreaves, so I am disappointed that that hasn't come to pass.

Surprised, but pleased, that Sinclair has been offered a deal. Maybe we're going to use him as a utility player - someone who can slot in anywhere on the right hand side. It's not a bad thing to have.

Absouletly no surprise with Stelios and Ando. I doubt they would have taken new contracts even if offered, as they were both thoroughly hacked off with the situation.

What! No more Stelios threads? :(

As most have said already, they have been great for the club, though I still think Campo should have gone two seasons ago.

Stelios would be a great catch for any of the clubs coming up into the Premiership. Stelios for Hull anyone :pissed:

Andranik was an enigma, put in some excellent performances when he was able to make the first team, yet shunned by not one, not two, but three different managers. So I guess there must be something we couldn't see. Though he was worse then poor against Portsmouth and Lisbon.

Cheers fella's.
