I know playing a decent club like Bolton is a big occasion for you. Be a nice day out for you. Last time you had a full attendance of anything in Blackpool other than Scots on vacation and teenagers knocking drunken fxck out of each other, was for the final of Strictly Come Dancing at the Tower. Keep it in perspective.

Twice. One loss to Blackpool and one draw. Last time they won at our gaff was 1986. Last time we won at their gaff was 1977.

So in other words, we've played the likes of Atletico Madrid, Marseille and Sporting Lisbon, as often as we've played Blackpool in the last two decades. Perhaps we could invent some sort of 'rivalry' with those clubs.

Its a good day out, we get a nice allocation and usually pick up 3 points or 1 at least

The last time we won at Blackpool in a league game in 1977, the attendance was just under 26,000. Just to put that into perspective, your average attendance that season was just over 10,000. So it's understandable that you see it as your cup final.

Absolutely, Fella, and thanks for those words - let's not indeed. It's just that when you were at our place 18 months ago there was quite a lot of vengeful vitriol going on. Last time we played one and other you couldn't hold on to a lead for 90 mins to save your lives (though the two goals we scored to make it 2-2 were, at least one of, the best two goals we scored that season - in fact, I'd say that the Mark Davies goal still is the best goal I've ever seen us score). Has Holloway sorted that out now? Or are you still clinging on to your seats when two up with five mins to play? :conf:

no they still s**t themselves right up to FT
