Is that the same Veloso we were going to sign? He could do a job away at Huddersfield!

What's all this about Ronaldo wanting to be known as CR7? Not a patch on CE7.

He's done that for a few years, his trademark......like Beckham and his DB7.

Not sure it has quite the same ring as DP21.

Is it me, or does one of the linesmen look a bit like a mini Djorkaeff.

Yesterday, sky sports tweeted that the Greece players were "going absolutely spastic at the ref". Probably a bit ill advised!!

Meanwhile as a little aside from the Euros, Messi just completed his hat-trick against Brazil to make it 4-3, with this!...

Apart from Russia (and as said lets wait and see over the next couple of games how good they were as opposed to how bad the Cezchs were) not seen much to excite me so far.

Can't be doing with the Spain wankathon. They played without a striker FFS. Silva up front?

Great teams don't play without a fecking striker.

Especially when you have a top one sat on the bench who doesn't even come on as sub.

Italy organised and dangerous but hardly thrilling. Germans seem to have reverted to typically dogged and determined Germanic football rather than the swashbuckling team from the past two tournaments.

See what the Oirish can come up with now.

The BBC/ITV have got a cameraman whose sole job is to focus in on hot women in the crowds.

License fee paying for itself! We need more of this!

ROI v Croatia is a decent-ish game.

The commentary fer't th'Ireland game is now on mute, the 'English' commentator is soooooo pro-all-things-oirish that he's coming across like a lovesick puppy. Embarrassing would be too kind a word :whack:

Last time I checked we were in the UK, I doubt they'd be so complimentary during our game wit' frogs tomorrow.

Did Klasnic retire, or are they still waiting for his lazy arse to set off for Poland/Ukraine?
