Pleased with this. Im gonna do the ale train to the game from Leeds! Have to get some food on though...;-)

You just need an excuse to go past Huddersfield and include Stalybridge!

Got a couple of mates who are mad HTFC fans, so pleased that they went up. We just need to re-sign Arnie to run rings round them again.

Well you'll be going the wrong way and adding a tenner on the train fare, but I'm planning on doing the ale trail as well (the benefit of Leigh rugby's games occasionally being televised on a Thursday night in Yorkshire means having all day to do the trail).

Did Huddersfield away the Barry Knight season, it was near the end of the season, we were in a boozer and the puddings were all saying 'all we need to do is beat these and we'll make the play-offs'. They didn't, we did but 'lost' to Ipshit.

Season after we got promoted and spent 10yrs in the top-flight, whilst they were relegated and spent 10yrs in the lower leagues

I was veeeeeery drunk, but didn't Ricketts chip the keeper with a beauty in that game?!

In a similar vein, I remember them bringing about 4,000 to the Reebok in 98/99 ('Watford' year) as they were unbeaten and top of the league at the time. We won 3-0 after being 3-0 up at half-time thanks to a Gunlaugsson masterclass...the only UK players in our side being Neil Cox, Mike Whitlow and Nathan Blake!

Ian Marshall :D

I kept threatening to turn up with a pair of scissors one day.

Hadn't even looked at the bench. Leam Richardson and Emanuele 'The Messiah' Morini. And Steve Banks being a professional goalkeeper should bring hope to midgets everywhere.
