Is German football the most entertaining? Whenever I see German teams and matches, they attack at pace, are direct and usually games between them are end to end exciting affairs in my experience?

Also that Schweinsteiger (sp?) is a hell of a player IMO!

Yep.. Bayern's brand of football is the best in Europe that I've seen. It's a possession game, but they always look to go forward with it at pace.

Brilliant to watch and are well worth their place in the final

I was amazed at how both teams passed at pace and their first touch was fantastic. It's like they had epoxy resin smeared along the sides of their boots. As soon as the first period of extra time lapsed I texted my uncle to say Bayern would go through on penalties.

Hopefully it will be a good final. Be nice to see 'Our Gary' pick up a medal.

Yep thats them, what the 2 team league? its getting like the SPL. They have some great players but they are not a great team, i don't understand the logic that Madrid would of a better chance of beating Chelsea in the final than Bayern who totally outplayed them :conf:

Ive seen alot of german football this season on ESPN and every game is entertaining, and every team looks to be well organised. There's some world class players in that league more than people realise. The two top goal scorers in the bundesliga have 40+ goals Gomez at Bayern and Huntelaar at Schalke.

There's some world class players in that league more than people realise. The two top goal scorers in the bundesliga have 40+ goals Gomez at Bayern and Huntelaar at Schalke.

Agreed. I think they produce the best 'football product' and their teams are quite underrated.

3 world class players but they also have the best full back in the world IMO too Philipp Lahm the guy never stops running and has that swagger only world class players have.

anyone else think Chelsea are making a HUGE stupid mistake by kicking up a fuss over making sure John Terry could lift the cup if they won it??

do I not remember ManU looking a bit stupid having made a similar application for Fletcher(?) to be able to collect a medal should they have won it???

I don't remember the second leg - I didn't go - but I was at the first leg... (one of my first away games)

big Sam was suspended IIRC - and Whatmore scored a thunderous net-busting free-kick to equalise... (funnily enough - I think it was mcKenzie that scored for them that night..)

(didn't Bruce Rioch play for everton back then?)

My recollection of this match is arriving late with my Dad, brothers & sisters. Then getting into the Lever End, only to be met by a bloke warning my Dad not to try and get his kids any further, since "they'll get crushed". Consequently, we about turned and exited, having to climb over the turnstiles to get out.

We spent the next 2 hours sat in my Dad's car, without a radio, waiting for our friends who'd managed to get into the ground, to return, to give them a lift home.

One of the worst memories of my childhood. The most despressing, desolate 2 hours ever.

and Dortmund are 8 points clear last time I checked playing their own brand of brilliant football!
