Why has Megson not been offered the job?

I've applied for the England manager's job.

I know I won't get it, but it keeps the dole people off my back for another couple of weeks.

My mate made the mistake of applying for the Wolves job.

He's got to go for an interview on Monday.

It just goes to show (some) teams cannot just sack their manager and get someone better in at the drop of a hat.

I suspect we would be in the same boat if we got rid of Owen. All the same names and faces banded about, none of which we would want.

Wolves are waiting until after this weekend. If Sheffield United beat Wednesday they'll be able to pick up Meggo without any tricky compensation negotiations!

Imagine the Wolves shirts and Meggo's bonce in the same shot. I feel all giddy. :D

Seriously that could happen, they dont seem keen on Bruce and if megson is available he fits their stated criteria.

He'll go nowhere without receiving his pay-off.

If that means sitting on his ass in the deck-chair while various gardners trim his bush .... that's what he'll do.

Couldn't believe it when, soon after Meggo taking charge at Bolton, the team walked out to Hi Ho Silver Lining.

Does anyone remember ? I'll never forgive the tosser for that !

I'm assuming PG or someone had a word.. as it soon changed to Status Quo.. ( just like at Burnden )

Listening to the Wednesday - Blackpool game the other week on 5Live ... and he's got them walking out to Hi Ho Silver Lining too.

In my mind.. that's the Wolves song.. and part of the reason I detest them so much.. that and their moron supporters trying to attack Lofty...

The Wolves job is made for him...

believe me there are 100's more reasons.

My dad loathed them. Right to the point where he wouldn't let the TV stay on if the Beverley Sisters appeared on it, just coz one was married to Billy Wright.

There is nowt like a Bowtoner with a grudge.
