He was so close to buying himself a bit of leeway at Chelsea. Scored a clinical first goal after a great pass from Anelka. And there it is, and open goal, a chance to score a brace against Man U, and what does he do? He misses an open net. In fact he misses the net by at least a meter. Brilliant. He will probably have more pressure on him now than before the match, and that's after scoring a great goal.

He missed 2 open nets.. Weirdly enough, other than that he was immense!

As an aside how frustrating is it to watch the luck Man Utd got today? 2 goals that were offside, and Ramires and Torres miss absolute sitters. We could use a bit of luck like that!

He'll score against us now.

And it'll all be your fault.

And don't think I'll forget, either.

For my money it's always Rosenthal.

Missing a close shot from a tight angle, or putting it over the bar from 2 yards when the cross is fizzed in really quick- those are acceptable misses.

Rosenthal had the proverbial open goal, nobody near him, with the ball comfortably right in front of him. Even being dodgy with his left peg can't erase the fact he had time to switch it. It's the sort of miss that leaves you in a cold sweat thinking about it.

Edit- actually bloody hell, this one runs it close.

Rosenthal hit the target at least......Torres miss is bad, he had an open net and the ball wasn't fizzed at him.

He hit the bar, hence on target.
