Apparently it's not quite as bright and garish as that, but that is the colour scheme. Should be fun to see in the flesh the 3/4 times we'll actually wear it.

What? Even the chavvy 'Tribal Tattoo' scroll on the arms? Might as well have a pitbull motif instead of the 'Barclays' Premier League design.

Oh indeed. It's just not as appalling/embarrassing as I was hoping for.

Had to like the treatment F365's mediawatch gave it today - quotes from kids 'I was really surprised to see Mighty Red'...

So would I be, given nobody knew he existed until he came out and was introduced as Mighty Red :D

What a shite name. Clearly he's the Liverpool Liver Bird, so surely their marketing department can come up with SOMETHING based around that?

For a period in the 90s I think we had something called Anfield Arnie. Never had a mascot in a suit, though, he was just on pencil cases and the young supporters club and stuff from what I can recall - a new low.

The new manager now touting Andy Carroll around the 'elite clubs' for a loan.

So ... he doesn't fancy him one bit. I suppose his bull-at-a-gate centre forward style won't suit the Swansea way.

I did think he'd begun to make progress.

Suarez will fancy a move soon too I'm betting.
