I realise how big a cock Dalgleish is when I find myself agreeing with Alex Ferguson.

To me Reina's shove is a 'get on with it' gesture as he shakes Evra's hand. Suarez shows what a bellend he he really is.

get on with what?

Shaking people's hand and the game of football rather than making a big issue of it. In my opinion it was more of a diffusing action rather than an aggressive one.

Oh hello - Suarez has just issued an apology

I'm going to lob bananas at him when I see him, and that's not racist - believe me, I know. Some of my best friends are racists. :?

nahhh - it was a decisive and deliberate movement - skipping Evra and heading straight for De Ghea (sp?)..

anyway - as Bruce points out - he's apologised for not shaking Evra's hand and said he let the club down...

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/feb/12/luis-suarez-issues-apology-patrice-evra?newsfeed=true

which also makes uncomfortable reading for those muppets on the RAWK thread who said that Suaraez actually went to shake evra's hand but Evra did some kind of wizzardy trick and made it look like the opposite!

Now I'm confused. Liverpool fans spent so much time yesterday through convincing arguments and definitive replay of footage and pictures convincing us all that Suarez didn't refuse to shake Evra's hand and now Suarez, King Kenny and even the club have come out with apologies for the action or lack of. What a sad excuse for a football club LFC are. Have mishandled this from the onset turned themselves into a laughing stock for the few that didn't already know this fact, and have allowed an ugly incident to fester and grow into a much bigger problem.

Maybe Blurred could shed a little neutrally coloured light on it for us? Blurred? :conf:

Think you're spot on with that....nothing to do with Dalglish or Suarez, has got the big boys names all over it.

My thought exactly Bish.

Reading that yesterday was nausiating ... & also frustrating as it shows how that lot can persuade themselves that black is white (see what I did there ?? ). The media falsifying it, the camera angles show it to be the other way round, just one huge conspiracy. Such retch-making bllx.

I shan't be dashing onto RAWK to see the apologies from that set of shite-hawks.

Meanwhile, looking at the "apology" uis it just me, or doesn't that read more like he's sorry for the consequences, sorry for upsetting 'King Kenny' and that the club are, again, in the midst of controversy. No, you know, actual apology for what he did or anything.

Plus King Kenny's claim not to have seen it (maybe true) nor seen a TV replay of it (highly unlikely in the circumstances all seems to suggest the King has had his legs slapped by the top guys. I see a nervous breakdown heading his way .... again.

That tw*t Aldridge was making out that there was more to this than meets the ey on R5 earlier.

Lets be clear here, he was insinuating that Evra was somehow at fault and that Suarez wasn't that guilty. But then wouldn't back this up, simply saying "I know stuff I can't repeat".

Obviously, liberally sprinkled with plenty of "I'm not a racist but..." type comments.

God love 'em all.

I think I may have interpreted what you meant. Suarez was definitely at fault and refused to shake Evra's hand. I thought you were talking about the Reina push (further up the thread). I wasn't defending Suarez, that would be stupid.

Former Football Association chief executive Mark Palios told BBC Radio 5 live's Sportsweek that the handshake was "clearly symbolic, and its symbolism has its place in the game.

"From a player's perspective it's very difficult to shake someone's hand if you don't want to. "

.

Fook me.

On what, exactly? The whole thing, from all sides, is a complete clusterfuck, and has been ever since the original incident several months ago.
