Porn Spam

We seem to be getting a few hits of the above lately. Another one this morning. Here's a suggestion. Make it so that you have to post in the new members thread at least once before you can post on the rest of the boards.

I'm old enough not to let porn bother me, however my 8 y.o. grandaughter sometimes stands next to me when I'm online (she likes Youtube) so not great if she saw it.

We are aware of the sudden influx of porn spam and are doing everything we can to sort out this problem. Be assured that this will only be a temporary one.

In the meantime, we ask that all members take care when opening any thread from a new/unrecognised member; or one that sounds dodgy 'Free porn available here' for example.

I'm no prude but anything that you can do to stop Porn being posted on the site is good by me.

I'm sure that those who want that sort of thing can find it easily enough on the web without compromising sites like this one.

We have been more then aware of it, and Keveh's hopefully now sorted it. We shouldn't be getting any more porn spam on the site as of today.

Signing on five hours after the rest of you I have never seen any so site admin must do a pretty good job of cleaning up. :oyea:
