Hello. The Axman here; Ax for short.
I support Buxton (somebody has to), but need the occasional Premier League fix, and get that either at Anfield, SheffU (when they're up there - which ain't often) or BWFC (no, I've no idea why either).

How the hell do you upload a piccy as your avatar icon on this site - it(UserControlPanel) directs me to enter an URL. If I knew what an URL was I wouldn't be supporting Buxton now, would I?

Wilkommen!

A URL is a web address - in this case a link to an image. Find a web image of an appropriate size, ie small, right click on it, select Copy Link Location, then paste (Ctrl-V) it into the text box for the avatar link.

Good grief! I'd missed this little kerfuffle.

I hope that The Axman changes his mind and that he was having one of those thin skinned moments that we all have from time to time. Prufrock recently got a cyber-earful from me when I seemingly misinterpreted the tone of one of his postings. **it happens.

Anyway, The Axman, if you ever read this I'm sorry you felt as you did and, like many others here, think that your postings were always readable and, as often as not, enjoyable (well, at least you can spell and express yourself clearly :wink:
