A hundred-odd posts in and I just saw this "New Members" board.

Born and raised in London, but since my old-man was from Bolton and a serious Wanderer, I shunned my local clubs (Arsenal and Spurs) and took on the mighty whites, causing much hilarity among my school mates (most of whom were Scum fans, oddly enough).

First game, aged seven, was the Coca-Cola Cup final against Liverpool in 1995 (Steve McManaman, you bastard). After that I went to most away games and about four or five home games per year, until I moved to Amsterdam in 2007.

Any Wanderers in this city who might fancy watching a game over pint, please give me a shout.

Then a belated Welcome, Sponge. I'm afraid you may have missed Pencilbiter's Dutch residency.

He has, but Mr Rioja visits the place two or three times a year and might well take Mr Sponge up on his offer.
